Alysha Umphress
Alysha Umphress (Mezzo Soprano) is a New York City based artist who is thrilled to be returning to Savannah after being honored with the gold medal at the 2023 American Traditions vocal competition. Ms. Umphress made a splash on Broadway starring as “Hildy” the man hungry cab driver in the critically acclaimed hit revival of On The Town.
The SCAD Bee Sharps
The SCAD Bee Sharps are the Savannah College of Art and Design’s executive vocal ensemble. Specializing in a range of musical genres, from classic standards to spiritual songs, to today’s hits, the Bee Sharps are sure to blow you away! Join the Bee Sharps for a fun time!
The Venue
Forsyth Park Band Shell
Located at the beginning of the South Lawn in one of Savannah’s most loved parks, the Band Shell in historic Forsyth Park holds event both large and small throughout the year.
The Savannah Philharmonic hosts the largest outdoor cultural event in Savannah on this stage at our annual “Phil the Park” concert.
