Per-service core musician, with chamber music & education/community engagement duties
2024-25 Season: August 22, 2023 – May 4, 2025
– 9 concert cycles total plus additional chamber and small ensemble engagements throughout the season – total number of services no less than 35
– Service pay for 2024-25 season for Principal position is $155
– Paid travel at $0.67 per mile, maximum 500 miles
– Savannah Philharmonic provides housing per each cycle
Audition Date:
- First Round Online Audition submission window: January 11 – March 11, 2024 through Acceptd platform
Interested applicants should submit ONE unedited video with the following pieces to the Acceptd platform. The audition video must be shot in one continuous take and include, in this order:
- Mozart Oboe Concerto, 1st Mvt. (Exposition only)
AND
- Brahms: Concerto for Violin in D Major – 2nd Mvt. m. 3 to m. 32
- Ravel: Le Tombeau de Couperin – Prelude Beg. to Reh. 2 | 6 after Reh. 8 to 1 before Reh. 9

- Mahler: Symphony No. 2 – 4th Mvt. Reh. 2 to 9 after Reh. 2
