Our final concert opens with SavPhil Principal Clarinetist, Kristen Spiridon, performing Carl Maria von Weber’s dazzling Clarinet Concerto No. 1

The 2021-2022 season concludes with Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade, a vivid work inspired by the fanciful tales of the Arabian Nights. With the solo violin weaving a colorful tapestry of sound throughout, Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade remains one of the most adored orchestral works.
