Savannah Philharmonic Presents “Beethoven’s Ninth”

Third Concert of the 2024-2025 Season

SAVANNAH, GA – The Savannah Philharmonic is pleased to announce its third concert of the
season, “Beethoven’s Ninth,” scheduled for Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 7:30 pm at the
iconic Lucas Theatre for the Arts.
Led by Guest Conductor Jonathan Taylor Rush, the evening will feature Augusta Read Thomas’s
orchestral work, Aureole, designed specifically to precede the performance of Beethoven’s Ninth
Symphony.
The Savannah Philharmonic Chorus will be performing with Paul Thornock as chorus master;
Jasmine Habersham, soprano; Kendra Faith Beasley, mezzo-soprano; Demetrious Samson, Jr,
tenor; and Cameron Rolling, baritone.
Prior to the November 16th concert, Guest Conductor Jonathan Taylor Rush will visit the
following area schools to work with music students:
