Savannah Philharmonic To Hold Summer Chorus Camp

SAVANNAH, GA: The Savannah Philharmonic invites the community to join with members of the Chorus and lift your voice this summer at our 3rd Annual Chorus Camp. The camp is open to singers across the region to study repertoire, receive musical and vocal instruction, and meet others who love to sing.

Participants will sing inspiring pieces with our chorus master, Paul Thornock, review the fundamentals of healthy singing, brush up on your music reading skills, and meet other singers from throughout the region.

Chorus Camp will be held Monday, June 15 — Wednesday, June 17 5:45 pm–9:30 pm at Regina Coeli Hall in the undercroft of the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Each evening will begin with dinner and end with dessert and drinks. The final evening of camp will feature a short concert for friends and family with a small chamber orchestra followed by a reception.

The $125 registration fee covers dinner and dessert each evening and all instruction. Limited scholarships are available. To register and for additional information please visit: SavannahPhilharmonic.org/chorus-camp/.
