Auditions for the Savannah Philharmonic Youth Orchestra this fall
The Savannah Philharmonic is proud to announce the creation of the Savannah Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (SPYO) — a place where young musicians can dream big, grow with confidence, and share the joy of music with their community.
The SPYO is the next step in the Savannah Philharmonic's education programs, inviting students from the String Program and sectional groups to take their playing further — performing exciting orchestral repertoire side-by-side with friends, learning from experienced instructors, and taking the stage in concerts that bring pride to families and the community alike.
"Playing exciting orchestra music side-by-side with friends, learning from experienced instructors, and performing in concerts that bring pride to both their families and the community."
The SPYO will rehearse weekly beginning in October, with Savannah Philharmonic's Music & Artistic Director, Keitaro Harada, conducting two concerts in December and May. Annual tuition applies, with scholarships available for qualifying families.

Champion the next generation of young musicians in our community
Music has the power to transform lives — and the Savannah Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (SPYO) is where that transformation begins. This groundbreaking new program brings together young musicians from across our community, giving them the training, mentorship, and stage to grow as artists and as people.
Your sponsorship of just $600 covers the full cost of one student's participation for an entire school year — from their first rehearsal to their final bow. Every dollar you give is a direct investment in a young person's confidence, discipline, and love of music.
"Young musicians can dream big, grow with confidence, and share the joy of music with their community."
The Savannah Philharmonic Youth Orchestra needs champions like you to make it a reality. Whether you sponsor one student or many, your generosity helps ensure that a child's access to music is never limited by circumstance.
